The Person Behind Pebble Marketing
Pebble Marketing is inseparable from my story.
19 Years of Conversation,
I grew up around the family chip shop and I knew early on it wasn’t the future I wanted. Education became my route forward, with a focus on achieving qualifications that opened doors. I went on to study Business Management and Finance at Witney College, where marketing and sales stood out immediately. It felt instinctive. It still does.
My early career included property sales, working across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties, negotiating, supporting conveyancing processes and working within budgets. I then moved into office layout and fit out environments, where my strength in appointment setting and starting conversations became obvious.
From there I worked with highly technical solutions, including battery monitoring systems and complex power requirements, selling into organisations such as banks and the MOD. That experience shaped how I work today. I’m comfortable with detail. I can grasp technical and intricate products quickly and articulate them clearly to prospects and decision makers.
Pebble Marketing started 19 years ago from my kitchen table as a single mum with two daughters to support. It was built through resilience, consistency and a genuine love of business conversation. I’m married to Karl, my daughters are now grown, and family remains central to my values. I come from a Turkish Cypriot background and speak Turkish, which has shaped my communication style and cultural awareness.
I also care about giving back. I support charitable causes, take part in runs and challenges for charities, and contribute to environmental initiatives such as tree planting. For me, business is about results, but it’s also about how you show up in the world.
This isn’t just what I do. It’s who I am.
